Tania Hirte is a writer, artist and cultural promoter based in Spain.
Born in Romania in 1999. My family moved to Catalonia in 2005, where I live to this day. Mentioned by Pompeu Fabra in Modern and Contemporary Art and Literature. My undergraduate thesis was based on the writings and theories of Anaïs Nin on the complexity of the Autobiographies of women genre compared to the term «terrain vague» by the Barcelona architect Ignasi de Solà Morales. I am currently researching in my master’s thesis the voice of Concha Méndez, poet of the Generation of 27, lost in exile from the work Memorias habladas, memorias armadas (1988).
As a freelancer, my professional life is a tide of projects that come and go. But in general I sail in the sea of culture, music and art. I currently work to coordinate and curate the Contemporary Art Exhibition of l’Escala, Les Muses and to produce the art program ‘Artis’ for Channel 10 Empordà. I collaborate with magazines such as Ut Empordà and Terra de Lluerts. I write In the last year I also worked as a journalist for Radio l’Escala and Canal 10 Empordà in the news section. I have translated series and films. I attend festival productions and lead artists and creatives in their projects.
